CloseSubscription Terms and Conditions for STL Tones products and services.
You can cancel your subscription or free trial at any time within your account on the STL Tones website.
When you purchase a subscription there will be automatic recurring charges to your payment method. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select (example: monthly or yearly). Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged automatically.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it. If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there, or by signing in to your account on the STL Tones website. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.
When you sign up for a free trial (try before you buy), we authorize your payment method. You will have a certain amount of time (the free trial length is listed on the website and in the checkout) to decide if you want to keep or cancel your product before any payments. Once the time period has passed, if you have not cancelled your product, we may charge your payment method and your subscription may begin.
STL Tones may change the price of subscriptions, including recurring subscription fees, from time to time and will communicate any price changes to you in advance. If you do not agree with a price change, you have the right to cancel your subscription via your account on the STL Tones website before the new price takes effect.
When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying an out-of-stock or soon-to-be-available product not yet in inventory. We may collect no payment or a partial deposit at checkout, store your payment method, then fulfill and charge the full or remaining payment at a future date. You can cancel a partially paid pre-order order that has not yet been fulfilled. If the order has been fulfilled, then you can't cancel the order, but you can request a full or partial refund. See our returns policy for more details on returns and refunds.
If you are based in the UK or EU, you may also cancel the following during the specified time period (each a "Cooling-off Period"):
(a) your subscription to the Service, within the first 14 days of signing up to that paid plan (or the free trial associated therewith) or upgrading your plan (when applicable);
(b) your purchase of any license within the Service (e.g. for a Plugin), within 14 days of that purchase; or
(c) any purchase of additional Credits, within 14 days of that purchase.
If you cancel your subscription, upgrade, or any purchase during a Cooling-off Period, we will reimburse in full the applicable payment you have made. However, if you use the Service in any way during a Cooling-off Period (e.g., by commencing a download of a Preset, or otherwise), you agree that you have expressly agreed to waive your cancellation rights and you will not be entitled to receive either a full or partial refund of the applicable payment you have made.
If you sign-up for a free trial you acknowledge that the relevant Cooling-off Period commences on the date of commencement of the free trial, and not on the date of STL Tones charging the Service Subscription Fee in accordance with these Terms; however, your cancellation and refund rights will not be lost by your use of Services for the purposes permitted within that free trial (e.g., auditioning, testing presets) during this Cooling-off Period.
