Getting set up.

Step 1

Proceed to checkout to process your order by clicking the Complete your order button below.

Step 2

Download the installer for the platform you’ll be uploading presets to. Once it’s finished, run the installer to get set up. Important: use the exact versions linked below.

  • Open the plugin and click the My Profile icon in the left navigation panel.
  • Create your STL Artists account and follow the setup steps.
  • Click the Monetize My Tones button within the My Profile section of the plugin, then complete the account setup process to monetize your Artists profile.
You're all set!

Upload your existing presets or start creating new ones directly inside the plugin by clicking on the Capture My Gear icon in the left navigation panel.

Once uploaded, your presets go live instantly, and tracking begins automatically. The more presets you share, the greater your reach, and the higher your potential royalty earnings.

• Open the plugin and click the My Profile icon in the left navigation panel.
• Create your STL Artists account and follow the setup steps.
• Click the Monetize My Tones button within the My Profile section of the plugin, then complete the account setup process to monetize your Artists profile.

Frequently asked questions.

When does STL Artists go live?

The STL Artists program will begin onboarding our first group of invite-only beta artists in December.

When do I get paid?

Royalties are calculated and distributed on a monthly basis. Once your content is live and generating usage, payments are automatically sent at the start of each new month.

Are there any fees?

There are no upfront or subscription fees to join. STL Tones handles hosting, distribution, and processing, a small service fee is only deducted from revenue before your royalties are paid out.

Is there a threshold?

Yes. To keep payouts efficient, a minimum threshold of $20 USD must be reached before a payment is issued. Any balance below that amount rolls over to the following month.

Do I get a payment breakdown?

Absolutely. Your dashboard includes a detailed earnings report, showing which presets or captures generated revenue and how your royalties were calculated.

Can I track my earnings and preset usage?

Yes. You’ll have access to real-time analytics that show usage, downloads, and performance trends for each preset, capture, or expansion you publish.

How are my preset usages tracked?

Each time a preset is loaded and actively used within ToneHub or ControlHub, that session is securely tracked in our system. Earnings are calculated based on the total hours of usage across all customers, not on how many times a preset is downloaded.

Your Artist dashboard aggregates this usage data so you can see daily insights, including which presets are used the most, how long they’re played, and how your overall earnings are trending.

All tracking is fully anonymous and linked only to preset IDs. No personal or identifiable customer data is ever collected or shared.

What are the supported payment methods?

Payments are made through direct bank transfer.

What gear can I capture?

You can capture any hardware setups of your choice , including amps, pedals, cabs, and studio signal chains.
