Version 2.0 of Tonality - Andy James adds MIDI functionality to the plugin. With the addition, we have been forced to change the Audio Unit Specification of the plugin in order to maintain compliance with Apple's standard.

This means that DAWs that rely on AU specification, such as Logic Pro, will no longer recognize previous instances of the plugin that use the old specification.

Before updating, please follow these steps:

1. Open up any critical sessions using the plugin, and for each instance you wish to keep, save your amp settings as a user preset using the plugin's preset manager (it helps to create a bank per session, or name the preset after the song & part).

2. Once you have saved the tones of your instances as presets, you can update to v2.0.

3. When you load an existing session, you will receive an error that Tonality - Andy James cannot be found on your system, and existing instances will have an exclamation point over them. You can replace the old instances with a new instance of the plugin from your plugin list.

4. Once the new version is loaded up, you can use the plugin's preset manager to load the preset that you previously saved.
